McKee Hires Award-Winning Direct Mail Strategists
Today, Cumberland Mayor, small business owner and lieutenant governor candidate Dan McKee announced he has retained Achim Bergmann of Bergmann Zwerdling Direct to handle direct mail strategy for his campaign.
“Achim and his team have a wealth of Rhode Island experience, and I’m looking forward to working with him to deliver our vision of making our state a better place to live, work and raise a family,” McKee said. “With more than two decades of experience in helping elect Democrats to office, along with his experience in Rhode Island politics that dates back to 1998, Achim’s perspective and the firm’s strong creative product will contribute to our victory.”
Bergmann helped the Rhode Island Democratic Party during the 1998 and 2000 elections while managing voter contact programs for the Democratic National Committee. Most recently, he and his firm have produced winning direct mail for Democrats at all levels of office, including helping Democratic Congressman Patrick Murphy upset Tea Party firebrand Allen West in Florida. Bergmann also helped elect Peter Kilmartin to the Rhode Island Attorney General’s office in 2010 and is currently working on his re-election.
“I am looking forward to helping Dan win,” Bergmann said. “He has the fresh ideas and leadership background needed to make Rhode Island a better place to live.”
