McKee lands N. Providence Mayor Charles Lombardi Endorsement
“Dan McKee will be an outstanding lieutenant governor. As a small business owner, like myself, and community leader for more than 30 years, he has a vision for our state that other elected officials, frankly, just don’t have,” Mayor Lombardi said. “Dan and I both overcame significant financial challenges our communities were facing when we took office. He also has lead the way in bringing together other mayors to advocate for taxpayers at our State House, saving our communities millions in healthcare and school funding. I know as lieutenant governor this would just be the beginning.”
“I’m honored to have the support of Mayor Lombardi. Since taking office, he has done great work in improving the lives of those in his community. He has turned around the city’s finances and placed them on strong financial footing,” Mayor McKee said. “Together, we’ve been able to change the way Rhode Islanders get things done, and if elected lieutenant governor, I will bring that same mentality and motivation into the State House.”
